Larapin' Good Library Kings & Queens Book Discussion & Potluck Supper Club
This adult's only book club meets once each month in the Community Meeting Room at 6pm.

 The book club selection for Monday, June 24th is:

 Registration for this year's Summer Reading Club starts Wednesday, May 29th
Our Summer Reading program Kick-off Party will take place on Wednesday, June 5th at 10:30am! The featured performer is puppeteer/magician,  Brett Roberts!

Later in the summer we'll be giving away two beginner telecopes and two advanced telecopes to some lucky readers!

On Friday, July 19th the Fort Worth Stargazers will be bring telescopes and setting up behind the library at 9pm Don't miss out on this special event!

If you don't find what you're looking for please tell the staff so they can either find  something for you at one of our sister libraries or possibly make a purchase request.

As long as they are not consumed at the  computer area, you may bring in your own snacks & non-alcoholic beverages or buy them at the library!

Books & More to Your Door!

Do you know someone who has no car, can only drive or leave home for short periods of time, uses a wheelchair, or has been restricted to their bed?
If someone is "homebound", even temporarily, because of lack of transportation, illness, disability, pregnancy, or age and they would like to borrow books, movies, music or other materials from the library we have a solution.
We now have a program which makes materials available to Alvarado area residents who are unable to visit our library.

a FREE show featuring various performers, and we give away door prizes!

Thursday afternoons at 4:30 we have Crazy Craft-time with Make & Take free crafts for kids ages 5 and up. Parents are also welcome.
