Thursday, December 1st
On the Downtown Square in Alvarado

The event begins with a Parade of Lights and includes performances by AHS Choir, AHS Jazz Band, and Dance Fusion performers.
Join in the fun with the Parade of Lights! If you are interested in having a decorated float,  tractor, car, riding lawn mower, bicycle or horse or if you want to decorate yourself and walk in the parade please contact Alvarado City Secretary, Debbie Thomas at 817-790-3351.
The event will include the lighting of the city's Christmas tree and a visit from Santa (with photo opportunities)
Santaland features animated Christmas light displays and other beautiful Christmas lights and decorations all over the Downtown Square. Santa Claus will come to town for his annual visit and will arrive with our second annual Parade of Lights. After the parade children may visit with Santa Claus until about 9 p.m. and have their pictures taken.

As always the Alvarado Public Library advisory board will have a table on the square featuring refreshments, and new or gently used movies and books.

Want to be in the Parade?

The Parade will begin lining up at Parkway Park in the parking lot at 5:30 pm.
Look for the registration table to pick-up a parade entry number.
