Summer Reading Club Guidelines

library so you can become a Pirate and Sail Into Reading!
Minimum reading requirement = 600 minutes or 10 hours
Earn extra READING MINUTES by participating in our Pirate Playoffs on Wednesday,
July 19th from 11:30am to 3:30pm. (Pirate feats of Strength, Skill, and
Endurance, and some video gaming too!)

Parents/guardians may read to their children ages 4 and under so
their children may receive a reading certificate and coupons for
free surprises. However,
if you have a younger child who can
demonstrate their reading skills to us at the library
they will be allowed to compete with the 5-9 year old children for

you will remember to make requests for your favorite authors or
