The Parade Takes Place Monday, August 13th:

Starting Time  6:00 p.m.

  1. Participants must register at parade headquarters  and get a number. Groups and clubs may choose one member to register them.

  2. You must decide, from the list of categories, the proper category of your entry and notify the parade committee at registration.

  3. You may register only on the day of the parade (Monday, August 9th) between 3:00 and 5:30 p.m.

  4. Starting time of the parade is exactly 6:00 p.m.

  5. No favors, such as candy, gum or any other items, will be thrown from or by any entry or participant during the parade. This will be strictly enforced and failure to comply will be cause for disqualification and removal from the parade.

  6. Mini motors must be driven by and conveying the operator. Not limited to a two-wheel vehicle.

  7. A float is a low, flat vehicle self-propelled or in tow by any source with sufficient power and speed to maintain it's place in the parade. The towing source is not a part of the float.

  8. Awards will be presented at the Pavilion as soon as possible after the Parade is over.

  9. A special note: units involving horses will be required provide necessary health certification required by the state.
