Books & More to Your Door!

Do you know someone who has no car, can only drive or leave home for short periods of time, uses a wheelchair, or has been restricted to their bed?

If someone is "homebound", even temporarily, because of lack of transportation, illness, disability, pregnancy, or age and they would like to borrow books, movies, music or other materials from the library we have a solution.
We now have a program which makes materials available to Alvarado area residents who are unable to visit our library.

Need more details?

Welcome to the Alvarado Public Library!

We are located at:

Thank You
We just received news today that our library is the recipient of a Tocker Grant in the amount of $49,148!
This will not only allow us to modernize the library's interior with much needed additional shelving, new computer desks and chairs and device friendly furniture for teens and adults, we will also be able to reconfigure both the children's area and the teen area, replace two of our outdated computers, purchase new folding tables for workshops and children's programming and purchase a new mobile media center!
Thank you, Tocker Foundation!
