Understanding the Behaviors and Emotions of Aging

To be a good caregiver, we must first understand changes that take place with older adults, including loss and grief, stress, depression and other emotions. 

You will learn how to identify and respond to difficult behavior, and learn a variety of techniques to provide support and encouragement to those with chronic illness, pain and emotional distress.

Chronic Illness, Medication Management and Communicating with Healthcare Professionals                           

This workshop will be full of valuable information to help anyone caring for another to better manage the healthcare maze, from organizing medications and emergency contact information to preparing for a healthcare visit. 

Tips and techniques to empower a caregiver to gain a foothold on this very stressful and ever changing issue will be at the forefront of this program - valuable information for everyone! 

 

 

Workshops take place the third Tuesday of the month.
