Saturday, November 10th - Veteran's Day Parade: at 10:30 a.m. on the Downtown Plaza. Floats and other participants will line up at the Alvarado Public Library before 10:00 a.m.

November 17th

Santa's Helpers
Fajita Dinner and Auction Santa's Helpers raise money for Alvarado families in need. The festivities start at 5:00pm with dinner being served until 7:00.
The auction begins promptly at 7:00. 
The cost of dinner is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

Saturday, December 1st -Santaland arts Festival and Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony: Every year the community comes together to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season as they watch the fanciful Christmas lights go on all over the Downtown Plaza at sunset. Everyone enjoys the art & crafts and  refreshments sold by local non-profit groups as they wait for the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus! Come and sing Christmas carols with us or sip a lovely cup of hot cocoa.
