The Alvarado Christian Fellowship Food Bank

The Alvarado Christian Fellowship Food Bank (ACFFB) began to distribute food on June 1, 2002. From that day until December 31, 2002 the facility has distributed food for over 10, 000 people.
The Alvarado Christian Fellowship Food Bank is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization made up of pastors and lay members from Alvarado's churches.
Volunteers from all walks of life also come to the food bank to help distribute food each Thursday afternoon.
The ACFFB is attempting to build up it's resources with it's first fundraiser of the new year. Wal-Mart has pledged to donate matching funds up to $1000.00.
